Meet Jenny Doh…
*
Jenny Doh wears many hats, which is no surprise if you’re familiar with her well-developed and stylish wardrobe. And though we all wear many hats in our lives, Jenny wears hers with a unique style – with a bit of that “je ne sais quoi” that many people seek but never find. She artfully wears the hats of a wife, mother, artist, writer, entrepreneur, friend, and philanthropist – and the list goes on.
At the risk of using another cliché, Jenny is the total package. She’s intelligent, but not lofty or condescending. She’s driven, but kind. She’s a galvanizing force, able to draw so many to her, but its not just about her. As she’s become a mini mogul and a major personality in the art and crafting world she’s only become more accessible and involved in the world around her. Jenny gives of herself, and is genuinely interested in helping others. Refreshingly, her interest in helping others and giving back goes deeper than a simple write off or tax credit. Jenny Doh actually cares, and it’s evident in all she does.

Building Community & Helping Others
*
Jenny is working to build a strong sense of community, and her community extends far beyond her neighborhood, county, or even her home state. Jenny is linked with people all over the world through her website, CRESCENDOh, and she wouldn’t have it any other way. CRESCENDOh is informing, entertaining, connecting, and nurturing people by the thousands, and it’s also making the world a better place. An important part of Jenny’s business relates to paying it forward, whether she’s posting ideas on how to help others on her website, or donating the proceeds from her Art Saves line to her Charities of Choice.
Jenny was kind enough to support the art journaling classes I volunteer-teach to disadvantaged elementary school children. Realizing that even a small-scale grassroots program can make a big difference, she helped provide many of the supplies needed for my 2010 – 2011 class. Over thirty 5th graders have benefitted from this support, for which the students, their teacher, and I am very thankful. I’m passionate about teaching these classes, and it was a thrill that Jenny saw the life-changing potential these classes had – she could see the impact this class could have on a child in need.

Jenny is one to watch…
*
Though Jenny is already quite accomplished and successful, I know what she’s done thus far is just the beginning. This woman is going places, and she’ll continue to carve out the life she wants through careful thought, hard work, and determination. And while I certainly admire those qualities, one of the best things about Jenny is that when she wins, others do too. Artists looking to share their gifts with the world win. Everyday people looking to enhance their lives through creativity and healthier living win. People and critters benefitting from the Charities of Choice donations win. And dozens of school children gifted with the art supplies needed to nurture their creativity, educational experience, and self-esteem win.
Thank you for caring and for giving, Jenny. Keep up the great work!
Warm regards,
Melody
